What makes a good XI?
Each spin is a decision about your remaining positions, not just the highest-rated name on the board. Secure a wicketkeeper, build enough bowling depth, and leave room for batters lower down the order. The team analysis combines batting, bowling, keeping, balance and depth; limited-overs formats also reward scoring speed. A nominated captain boosts their own ratings by 5%.
Player ratings start with performances relative to others from the same format and historical period. That gives older squads a chance to compete without treating runs or wickets from different eras as directly interchangeable. For an explanation of the rating model, auction budget and format-specific tactics, read the game guides.
A reason to come back
The Daily Challenge offers a shared draft with one attempt each day and a leaderboard for comparing results. The Daily Quiz gives you six guesses to identify a mystery cricketer from statistical clues. Completed runs, achievements and lifetime totals live on your Honours Board. To play another person instead, Battles lets two players draft from the same squads and compete across a series.
