Battles

A shared cricket draft. A head-to-head series.

Battles is the multiplayer mode of 6orSticks. Challenge a friend directly or find a player from the Worldwide board. Both sides draft from the same historical cricket squad in turn, so selecting a player also takes that player off the board for your opponent. The resulting XIs face each other in a series rather than the solo tournament bracket.

How a Battle works

  1. Choose a format and series settings, then send a challenge or accept an available Worldwide offer.
  2. Take turns drafting eleven players from shared squads. Each pick has a timer, so plan ahead for the positions your XI still needs.
  3. Select a captain and review both sides before the head-to-head games begin.
  4. Follow the match results and final series score. Completed Battles contribute to your weekly ranking.

A registered account is required to create, accept or play a Battle. Visitors can still browse available Worldwide offers without signing in. Solo tournaments and daily challenges remain available without an account.

Different from a solo draft

In solo play, you choose from each revealed squad for your own XI. In Battles, both players see a shared squad and the same decision can strengthen your side while denying the other side a useful bowler, keeper or batter. Balance still matters: securing famous names alone will not fill every required role. The match results show team ratings and outcomes, not a promise of how either real historical team would perform.
